Pastor Branden D. Walker is the proud and dedicated pastor of Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, His leadership is marked by a spirit of innovation, heartfelt compassion, and an unwavering commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God.

 

At the tender age of 9, Pastor Walker boldly accepted his calling and delivered his first sermon at Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, under the mentorship of the late Dr. Donald G. Burgs, Sr. This pivotal moment was the beginning of a ministry that would span over two decades.

 

For 8 years, Pastor Walker served as a staff pastor at The Antioch Fellowship Church of Dallas.

 

As a lifelong student of God’s Word, Pastor Walker has pursued theological training at respected institutions such as Houston Baptist University and Criswell College.

 

Pastor Walker is widely regarded as a “young man with an old soul,” a description that reflects his unique ability to seamlessly connect with both emerging generations and seasoned believers. His preaching is characterized by its authenticity, passion, and relatability. His ministry is fueled by a profound love for God’s Word and an earnest desire to see lives changed through the power of the Gospel.
